Game Currency Glossary
The terms used on GameSise and the game currency for each game, at a glance.
Types of game currency
Adena — the main currency of the Lineage series, including Lineage Classic.
Dia (Diamond) — used in many mobile games such as Night Crows, Lineage M, Odin and Lord Nine. Even the same ‘Dia’ has a different price per game.
Kinah — the currency of Aion and Aion 2.
Meso — the currency of the MapleStory World family.
Price unit (per 10,000 / 10,000,000 / 1,000,000)
The displayed price is KRW per a fixed quantity. For example, 1,500 KRW per 10,000 Adena means 10,000 Adena costs 1,500 KRW.
The base quantity differs by game — Adena per 10,000, Kinah per 10,000,000, Meso per 1,000,000.
Lowest price, change, listings
Lowest price — the cheapest tradable listing on the exchanges; the current price we show.
Change — the price move vs 24 hours ago (by Korean convention, up is red and down is blue).
Listings — the number of tradable listings on that server. More means higher liquidity.
Trading terms
Exchange — a platform that brokers peer-to-peer game-currency trades (Barotem, ItemMania, ItemBay, etc.).
Escrow (safe payment) — the exchange holds the payment and releases it to the seller after delivery is confirmed, preventing upfront-payment scams.
Cashing out — selling game currency for cash through an exchange. See the cash-out guide for details.
